Our Treatments
Find the Right Approach for Your Body
Every body presents differently—and the same body can present differently from day to day.
All treatments are designed to reduce pain, improve movement, and enhance performance—using the most appropriate combination of structural, neuromuscular, and functional techniques.
Some require deep structural correction. Others need targeted relief. Many benefit from a combination of both.
Our work is guided by how your body presents in the moment—not a fixed routine, but an informed approach. We meet you where you are on the day.
Our work is guided by what your body actually needs—not a fixed routine.
Kinesis Myofascial Structural Integration
Full-body, fascia-focused work designed to correct deeper patterns, improve posture, and create long-term change. This is an active process. Clients are guided through specific movements during the session, helping reeducate the fascia and reinforce more efficient, functional patterns in real time. Improving how tension is distributed throughout your body. Over time, this supports more balanced structure, efficient movement, and reduced strain.
Full-body fascia balancing and structural change
Best for:
- Long Standing Restrictions
- Recurring pain
- Postural imbalances
- Full-body tension patterns
Outcome:
Improved movement, decreased pain, better postural support, and progressive structural change over time
Neuromuscular Therapy
Targeted, precise work focused on relieving painful trigger points, reducing tension, and improving mobility in specific areas.
Best for:
- Localized pain
- Muscle tightness or spasms
- Faster, focused relief
- Enhanced range of motion
Functional Bodywork
A hybrid, adaptive approach that integrates both structural and neuromuscular techniques based on how your body presents that day.
This is not a fixed protocol—it’s guided by assessment and designed to meet your body where it is.
Best for:
- Clients unsure where to start
- Mixed or shifting symptoms
- Ongoing care and maintenance
- Transitioning between structural and targeted work

Certified Neuromuscular Therapy
Certified Neuromuscular Therapy (CNMT)
This advanced massage modality requires specialized training in kinesiology and neuromuscular anatomy, setting it apart from standard massage practices. CNMT targets the nervous system to alleviate muscle spasms, improve range of motion, and enhance performance. Combining techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and stretching, it effectively addresses both chronic and acute musculoskeletal concerns for lasting relief.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage facilitates the movement of lymph fluid throughout the entire lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage after liposuction, post surgery. post injury, pregnancy, diabetes or to assist in removal of toxins from your body. Acute injuries like a sprained ankle or swollen knees or ankles.
Functional Cupping
Functional Cupping is absolutely amazing! Immediate pain relief is often achieved. We odder a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy. While massage is performed by applying pressure, cupping instead uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues. Active and passive cupping techniques are applied to include joint mobilization. Cupping flushes the area with hyaluronic acid, hydrates the muscle and fascia fibers, increases performances and speeds recovery.
A massage informed by Science. Based on Empirical Knead's clinical research with Emory. Stress can be overwhelming, when chronic can be exhausting to you and your immune system. Leading to chronic fatigue, unexplained aches and pains. Research informs us that touch can be extremely powerful with reducing the inflammation associated with stress and anxiety thereby reducing pain, fatigue and restoring energy levels. Swedish based massage with no orthopedics or neuromuscular therapy techniques.
Pediatric Massage
Pediatric/children massage. Requires accompanying parents. Parents deal with a wide ranging issues that pediatric massage will help improve. Joint dysplasia, multiple sclerosis, ADHD, cancer among others are common conditions we see at Empirical Knead
Prenatal Massage
Research shows prenatal massage therapy can help reduce pregnancy discomfort, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. Prenatal massage therapy addresses different needs through varying techniques. We welcome you for your prenatal massage after your FIRST TRIMESTER
Neuromuscular therapy targets specific muscles to relieve pain and improve mobility effectively
